EFTC Pvt. Ltd. is proud to execute the complete electrical works for the prestigious SRM EV Building, a state-of-the-art G+8 structure. Our scope includes comprehensive electrical installations—from HT/LT power distribution, lighting, and power systems, to earthing, lightning protection, and panel board installations.
HT (High Tension) and LT (Low Tension) power distribution systems are used to manage the electricity supply in a building. The HT side involves receiving high voltage (e.g., 11kV) power from the utility and stepping it down using transformers. The LT side distributes the stepped-down voltage (e.g., 415V/230V) safely across the building to power lighting, equipment, and sockets. We design, install, and commission the entire HT/LT network, ensuring a reliable and balanced power supply throughout all floors.
This includes the complete setup of internal and external lighting, emergency lights, and power outlets across all areas. Our team ensures energy-efficient lighting design, proper circuit layout, and safe power distribution for equipment and appliances. Special attention is given to task lighting, common area lighting, and automated lighting controls, wherever applicable.
Earthing is a vital safety system that protects both people and equipment by diverting excess or fault current safely into the ground. We install earth pits, earth conductors, and bonding systems for all electrical panels and metal structures. Proper earthing ensures electrical safety, reduces the risk of shocks, and protects equipment from voltage surges.
This system protects the building and its occupants from lightning strikes by safely guiding the discharge into the earth. Our scope includes air terminals (lightning rods), down conductors, and earthing arrangements on the rooftop and structure. It ensures compliance with safety codes and provides vital protection for tall buildings like SRM EV (G+8).
Panel boards (also known as distribution boards) control and distribute power throughout the building. We install main panels, sub-distribution boards, and final distribution boards for lighting, HVAC, elevators, and general power. Each panel is professionally fabricated, labeled, and tested to handle the specific load demands of the SRM EV Building.
